Universally regarded as the greatest red-wine domaine in the world, "the Domaine" owns or farms a roll-call of Vosne-Romanée and Flagey grands crus — and two of Burgundy's most famous monopoles, La Romanée-Conti (about 1.8 ha) and La Tâche.
Co-managed historically by the de Villaine and Leroy/Roch families, it farms biodynamically and bottles tiny quantities; its wines are released in mixed allocations and are among the most sought-after on earth.
