Jack Daniel's

Registered in 1866 and built around a limestone cave spring in Lynchburg — a dry county, famously — Jack Daniel's defines Tennessee whiskey. Every drop is mellowed through three metres of sugar-maple charcoal before barrelling, the Lincoln County Process that rounds the spirit into its banana-caramel smoothness. Behind the black label stands real history: Nearest Green, an enslaved man who taught Daniel to distil, is now honoured as the first master distiller.
